How does the subsidy voucher redemption process work?

Catering businesses purchasing energy-efficient kitchen appliances do not need to fill in a traditional grant application form. The process has been deliberately designed to be application-free: certified retailers inform their customers of their eligibility for the grant directly at the point of purchase; the grant is applied as a discount on the invoice and subsequently processed via a grant voucher.

The voucher itself is redeemed via the subsidy portal – without the need for catering businesses to log in. Retailers and manufacturers, on the other hand, submit their reports digitally via their own login.
